Welcome!

We are a community of advocates focused on a single goal:

Ensure every student in Washington state has joyful, empowering, equitable, and identity-inclusive experiences learning about computing, no matter their race, gender, ability, class, or citizenship.

Many organizations help achieve this goal, including the state legislature, Microsoft TEALS, OSPI, Washington STEM, Code.org, and our state's CSTA chapters. However, none of this have an explicit focus on CS, equity, policy, and Washington state, aside from OSPI, which cannot advocate for state policy. We have organized to fill that advocacy gap, sharing information across institutional silos to help advocates find community and ultimately inform policy and practice.

We use this platform to manage our operations, allowing us to more easily onboard volunteers to take on various roles in the community.
